Responsibilities

  • Translate technical and business requirements to identify, evaluate and select vendors
  • Negotiate contract price and terms
  • Qualify potential vendors.  May consult functional team leads for technical advice
  • Establish and deliver supplier score cards to measure quality and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Interpret vendor performance data, trend results, and hold vendors accountable
  • Work with legal to seek relief where/when appropriate
  • Manage vendor qualification and selection process per TL9000 requirements; ensure compliance of Vendor Management system to TL9000 Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively cross functionally
  • Manage the update and execution of contracts amendments and pricing
    • Including but limited to NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, COIs
  • Keep Sharepoint lists and filing up to date
  • Create and maintain vendor database and vendor specific reports
  • Administrate Vendor Portal, working with Business system team to manage access and permissions
  • Manage Scorecard sessions with vendors, as required
  • Track and input data for vendor information like COIs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the telecom industry, contract management &/or vendor management
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to work with suppliers to meet company objectives
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, organization and negotiation skills
  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices (particularly with TL9000 standard)
  • Experience with telecommunications service providers
  • Proven history of excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient use of MS Project, Word and Excel
  • Oracle AP experience a plus!
  • Travel estimate 25%
