Purpose:

The Senior Director, Services Marketing will lead all aspects of our Services marketing for Calix.  Our primary clients, Communication Service Providers, face a rapidly transforming landscape.  Calix must develop and deploy new services capabilities to meet their changing needs.   This role will help ensure that we accelerate the deployment of new offerings, reach the right clients with a compelling value proposition and convert interest into demand.  The ultimate goal for the Senior Director, Services Marketing is to partner with the Professional and Customer Services organizations to build a world-class services organization for our clients.

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Services leadership team to help define our evolving portfolio
  • Developing our value proposition and messaging
  • Building an end-to-end program for marketing and sales enablement
  • Creating the content required to market and sell our services offerings
  • Orchestrating the execution of the marketing and sales enablement program
  • Partnering with Sales Leadership to drive client engagement

 

This position will also analyze relevant market trends, competitive trends and conduct analysis of our customer base to help price and position Calix Services with our product and software portfolios.

 

 

Existing services products include Extended Warranty contracts and the Calix Advantage Program but will grow over time as our product portfolio grows.  The Services Marketing Director can also work from a remote location.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years Services Marketing and / or Service Product Management experience and require little supervision.
  • Has experience leading teams
  • BA required, MBA a plus
  • Previous history working with Software consulting, OSS / BSS integration services, Professional services, and customer success programs are a plus.
  • Candidate should have some experience in the Telecommunications / Networking industry and has the ability to articulate the benefits of Calix Services and Products to customers.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Oracle or other equivalent CRM and ERP tools.
  • Needs to be attentive and detail oriented with excellent data analysis / manipulation skills, especially with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Needs to have excellent communication skills with customers and other internal Calix stakeholders.
