We are currently looking for high-energy, driven Cloud Solutions Specialists with knowledge of the Service Provider Help Desk market along with solid business-to-business sales and account management experience. You will be working with Calix account teams selling our Cloud portfolio of solutions, specifically Calix Support Cloud. Responsibilities

As part of our Worldwide Cloud Sales team you will be selling to new Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts along with established Calix customers and working with Calix Product and Marketing Leadership to define a new generation of Cloud solutions at Calix as we blaze a new trail in advanced analytics solutions.

 

You will execute on the account plan to deliver maximum revenue potential. Manage complete and complex sales-cycles often presenting to C-level executives the value of our full suite of Cloud applications. Forecast sales activity and revenue using salesforce.com , while creating satisfied customers. Evangelize the Calix Cloud vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives. Successful Cloud Sales team members are rewarded with both opportunity and one of the most aggressive total compensation packages in the industry.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
  • In depth understanding of Communications Service Provider business with specific focus on cloud enabled solutions and the Help Desk business units within Service Providers.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO level
  • Ability to create transformative vision and value prop, selling business value to customers across various LOB
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Account Executive roles while carrying a minimum $1MM quota
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management
  • Comfortable and compelling both on the phone, and in the boardroom
  • Consistent earnings history representative of plan over-achievement
  • Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com , Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external.

 

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working at, or selling into, a Tier 1 / Tier 2 Service Provider Help Desk
  • Enterprise software and/or SaaS solutions expertise strongly preferred
  • Experience selling into Tier 1 Solution Provider customers
  • Extensive Senior Engineering and Operational level contacts within the Tier 1/2 (National) Service Providers.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred
  • Bachelor or University Degree strongly preferred
