The Area Vice President, Premises Solutions will be responsible for accelerating sales of Calix’s premise offerings into new and established markets. This individual will lead a team of specialized, technical, competitive and influential individuals to drive market adoption of the Calix Premises portfolio. 

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies to increase sales and customer utilization of Calix Premise solutions
  • Expanding the global premise solutions team to reach our growing customer base and new prospects
  • Establish strong ties with the product team providing marketing and customer insights as we expand our premise offerings to deliver the best ROI and TCO for our customers,
  • Develop senior level relationships within key accounts
  • Provide feedback to Calix development teams on market conditions and requirements.
  • Lead a high-performance team in a dynamic, high growth, competitive environment
  • Create sustainable business value by helping customers evolve their networks, services and subscriber experience
  • Understand and stay current on CPE and Cloud Business models, technology and stay ahead of our competition

Qualifications

  • Proven strong selling background, which includes a minimum of 7 years in sales of premise-based solutions
  • A sound track record of continuous customer success and results
  • Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external
  • In depth understanding of Broadband Service providers, Network Service Provider access marketplace, customers and premises offerings
  • Four-year college degree, advanced degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%
