Massive change is occurring in the traditional service provider market with Calix positioned to play a key role in enabling our customers to deliver the best subscriber experience through agile software solutions, analytics and the cloud. This role is key to fuel growth and drive transformation in demand generation at Calix. The Demand Generation Manager will be responsible driving end-to-end campaign design, implementation, and optimization.  S/he will work closely product marketing, sales to create campaigns to define objectives, understand and inform buyer personas, and create campaigns that meet and exceed business objectives.

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer acquisition and data-driven marketing and who wants to discover and optimize new ways to engage with customers and prospects.  This person may also drive new pilots, programs, and learning initiatives for the wider demand generation and marketing team.  If driving customer engagement and accelerating buying cycles to grow revenue is what motivates you, please apply to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with key internal stakeholders to develop campaign plans and own end-to-end execution from awareness to lead generation to pipeline acceleration to cross-selling
  • Lead communication on campaign execution using cross-channel campaign performance data.
  • Develop insight and action plans, lead updates with stakeholders and executives
  • Drive demand generation and digital marketing strategies across all channels (website, emails, content syn, PPC,  SEM, SEO, blogs, social, etc.) and ensure coordination across channels
  • Project manage campaign development and execution across marketing, sales, operations, and other key contributing team members
  • Partner with sales to support strong pipeline development and progression.
  • Develop and deepen understanding of buyer persona and continuously evolve insight into how those buyers use social, web, trade and industry, and community channels
  • Own implementation and tracking in key measurement and marketing automation tools such as Pardot and TaskRay 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years demand generation and campaign planning for B2B solutions
  • Experience working closely with sales, product marketing, and content marketing
  • Proficient in marketing and analytic tools - especially the Salesforce suite
  • Strong project management skills, preferably in demand generation
  • Understand the concept of a buyer's journey with marketing content and channels for each stage.
  • Design complex, multi-touch marketing campaigns to build pipeline.
  • Strong virtual team leader with excellent written ad verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Team Orientation - Willingness and ability to work in close collaboration with others to reach goals, and subordinate personnel agendas and recognize team performance
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work smart under pressure and efficiently on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected complexities can crop up.
  • Flexible work schedules and the willingness to travel (including potential evening, weekend and holiday work).
