Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to manage the company’s benefit programs, while helping to improve global benefit offerings and related programs globally.

 

  • Manage U.S. benefit programs including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, disability, life and flexible spending by partnering with external vendors
  • Oversee monthly billing and reconciliation of insurance invoice payments
  • Work closely with outsourced leave administrator to manage the LOA programs including tracking leave status in Workday, pay calculations, coordination with Federal and State leave programs and time off policies.
  • Assist Global Benefits Manager with International Benefits and Expat programs management including onboarding, communications, payment of invoices and assisting with employee escalations.
  • Assist Global Benefits Manager with administration of 401(k) including Annual Audit, Non-discrimination testing, educational workshops, and resolving funding or eligibility issues.
  • Coordinate Annual Open Enrollment activities including Health Fairs, Wellness events, developing and reviewing communications, insurance rate reviews, enrollment system testing.
  • Manage the company’s Service recognition program globally

     

Miscellaneous projects as assigned such as end of year auditing, ACA mailings, SAR distribution, Vacation Donation programs, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in U.S. benefits administration, including leaves of absences preferred
  • Must have program management experience
  • Experience working in a hightech or biotech environment required
  • Proficient with HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel VLOOKUP formula and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and COBRA regulations
  • International benefits experience a plus
  • Opportunity for work remotely
